The new technologies allow to realize mantles of vegetation by drastically compressing the thicknesses and the weight on the roof covering, ensuring the survival of the mantle of vegetation, eliminating the maintenance and the duration of irrigation.
Nowadays we can make green roofs weighing about 120 kg/mq with water-saturated thicknesses having a minimum thickness of  15 cm, cutting maintenance down to 3 hours a year  per 100 SM (after the first year since installment).

In July the green roof maintains the surface temperature slightly lower than the air temperature, so as to obtain energy savings of 35% in the summer months.
