The new building of BMW Italia leasing S.p.A. has been conceived and designed by Kenzo Tange Associates as a multifunctional building to perform as show-room and reception and to benefit from spaces equipped for meetings, stages and BMW inner training courses.
The structure of the covered areas of the building, which have different shapes and several slopes (up to a minimum of 0,5%), is partly made up of reinforced concrete floor and partly of metal trusses and beams.

		Our RIVERCLACKŽ system has been choosen thanks to its performances and reliability; in fact the drainage joints roof covering, without using sealant or gaskets, guarantees total waterproof even in case of 0,5% slope and the anti-friction polyamide fixing brackets allow the free sliding of the sheets due to structural movements, thermal expansions and contractions

Moreover the RIVERCLACKŽ system offers the highest resistance to wind suction. Especially for this project, the covering systems have been realized according to the design requirements considering the different purposes for the rooms down below. To this aim the proper materials have been choosen and used;these have been installed per successive layers:

* steel load bearing staves, microribbed flat side at sight, which also act as floor for coverings on metal structure

* vapour barrier

* purlines

* thermo-acustic insulation

* RIVERCLACKŽ, draining joints covering in prepainted aluminium thickness mm. 0,8.

RIVERCLACKŽ sheets have been externally joint to the walls element with special bended pieces. Finally, on the roof coverings have been installed zenith skylights, insulated gutters, aluminium flashings and their relevant expansion joints to connect the different bodies of the building.
