Riverclack® in Europe and Asia

Riverclack® takes part in the project of the vastest European railway infrastructure: the London Crossrail, the next enormous upgrade of London's railway system, which will increase its capacity by 10%; a path towards modernization and travel times reduction. The project involves the construction of 38 new stations, including 9 metro stations.

CA Group's Rivertherm® system (a derivative of the Riverclack® system) was chosen to cover the Crossrail's Old Oak Common Depot - a 24,000sqm custom-built depot maintenance facility that will house Crossrail rolling stock - as well as other, smaller ancillary buildings.

Meanwhile in Turkey, the construction of a new railway station is underway. The new Ankara High Speed Railway Station - built for those high-speed trains travelling from Ankara to Istanbul - is part of a complex project to reduce traffic caused by private cars in favor of public transport. The 533 km/331 mls journey will be covered in about 3 ¾ to 4 hours, thus challenging the traditional monopoly held by airlines on fast-moving transport between Turkey's two largest cities.

The system chosen to cover the 25,500 sqm station roof is Riverclack ® 550, aluminum pre-painted RAL9006 PVDF.
